What are your opening hours? Are you open on public holidays too?
La Caravella Restaurant is open every day of the year, including public holidays. We welcome our guests for both lunch and dinner at the following times:
Lunch: from 12:00 to 15:30
Dinner: from 18:30 to 23:00
Exceptionally, we will be closed on Mondays from 20 July 2026 to 31 August 2026 inclusive.
We recommend booking in advance, especially during public holidays, long weekends and Venice’s major events, when visitor numbers are particularly high.
Is booking necessary?
Booking is always recommended, especially at weekends, during peak season and when city events are taking place.
By booking online, you can be sure of securing the table that best suits your needs and can let us know of any special requests.
Is it possible to organise group dinners or private events?
Yes. La Caravella is available to host business lunches and dinners, birthdays, anniversaries, receptions and private events. Depending on the number of guests, we can offer bespoke menus and personalised solutions, making use of certain areas of the Hotel Saturnia & International.

Yes. During the warmer months, you can enjoy lunch or dinner in our typical Venetian courtyard, an elegant open-air garden filled with plants, offering a peaceful and secluded atmosphere, away from the tourist crowds. It is one of the restaurant’s most distinctive spaces and is particularly popular for romantic dinners and special occasions.
It is accessed directly via a small corridor off Calle Larga XXII Marzo.

How do I get to the restaurant?
The restaurant is just a few minutes’ walk from St Mark’s Square. If you’re arriving by vaporetto, you can alight at the Santa Maria del Giglio or San Marco Vallaresso stops, both of which are a short distance away.
