Medardo Rosso The Transient Form
A collecton of of sculptures, photographs and previously unpublished documents trace the complex esthetics of
Medardo Rosso, the controversial Piedmont artist (Turin 1858 – Milan 1928) and pioneering innovator of 19
th century Italian and European sculpture.
The exhibition, curated by Paola Mola and Fabio Vittucci and offered in collaboration with Museo Rosso of Barzio di Como (which keeps the entire legacy of the sculptor’s works and archive), sheds a new light on the perceived image of the “Scapigliatura” Impressionist.
From Saturday 22nd Sept. until 6th January 2008
